00:04 Once you have had your planning conversation with us,
00:11 a number of things will happen so you can put your plan into action and start receiving your support funding.
00:18 In some cases, the person you had your planning conversation with will be able to approve the plan,
00:28 while in other cases they will send the draft plan to a colleague who will review and approve the plan.
00:35 Once your plan is approved, we’ll send you a welcome pack which includes:
00:39 A copy of your approved plan either by email or in the post.
00:48 A letter outlining any decisions made by the NDIA when approving your plan.
00:55 If there is anything in your plan or the letter you don’t understand, you can contact the NDIA.
01:04 If your circumstances have changed and believe your plan no longer meets your needs,
01:09 or you disagree with what has been approved, you may request a review.
01:19 Remember if there is anything in your plan or the letter you don’t understand, you can contact the NDIA.
01:26 Once you receive your plan, we’ll then help you put it into action.
01:32 The NDIA will call you to talk you through how to get started they will guide you through two things:
01:39 1. Creating a myGov account if you haven’t done so already.
01:44 2. Linking your myGov account to the NDIS Myplace Participant Portal.
01:49 On there you can find information about your plan, how to book services,
01:55 how many hours or how much you have and many more information about the NDIS.
02:07 You can find information on developing your plan,
02:11 starting your plan, and more helpful information
02:14 on our website or contact the NDIS.
